Image #25 from our Sumba Stone collection. These simple stone sculptures originate from the Indonesian island of Sumba and are hand-carved from sandstone by local artisans. In the traditional villages of Sumba, sculptures like these are placed in and around the entrance of huts, offering protection and healing to the residents inside. They make a beautiful statement on their own or can be displayed in a group to truly make an impression. Each sculpture is hand-carved, making it unique. No two sculptures are exactly alike. Grey in color, made from sandstone. Measures 11cm in height, 5cm in width, and 4cm in length.
