These simple stone sculptures originate from the Indonesian island of Sumba and are hand-carved from sandstone by local craftsmen. In the traditional villages of Sumba, sculptures like these are placed in and around the entrance of huts, offering protection and healing to the residents inside. They make a beautiful statement on their own or can be grouped together for a truly impressive display. Each sculpture is hand-carved and unique, with no two sculptures being exactly the same. The sculptures come in a natural color and include a stand. The dimensions of the sculptures are 17 cm in height, 4 cm in width, and 7 cm in length.
